First time trying this place today. I tagged along with the kids to meet a friend and she recommended this place. The menu has something for everyone. I tried the Buffalo chicken wrap. It was delicious! Prices are pretty on point with the norm. Nothing too crazy expensive. You order at the counter and tell them what table you’ll be at. They bring everything out to you. I would definitely go back and try other things on the menu.

Everything I ordered was REALLY tasty. I can be kind of hard to please, but everything was made really well. I was especially delighted by the chicken butternut and mushroom soup. They could take the menu to the next level by making the salsa in house, but everything else was so fresh and delicious.

I placed a pickup order for a mango orange smoothie. It was ready and still cold when I got there. Probably kept in a cooler. It was only $6 which I feel is a great price for 16 oz. The guy that grabbed it for me was nice. The vibe looks nice in there. Looks really chill maybe I’ll stop by for actual food one day. The deserts in the display case looked good.

After riding the Oak Leaf Trail, I stopped at this cozy little place for a much-needed break. Lovely decor, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere help set this place apart! The cranberry nut scone was tasty and paired well with the decaf blend. I appreciated that you get a self-serve mug when you order 'for here' drinks, and there was a great selection of non-dairy creamers (almond milk) and natural sweeteners like honey. I'll be back!

One always feels comfortable and relaxed when they are at City Market in the cafe. The taste of the bakery goods is far, far superior to other bakeries that I know of in Milwaukee.... especially the French Bread Boules and the Peanut butter cookies. The service is superb. I also have so much respect for the way this cafe managed to stay open and afloat during the COVID epidemic. I say, thank God for The City Market Cafe and Bakery!

So when we first entered the establishment, I was really impressed with the ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant. It had a cozy feel and was very contemporary. Love It! It gives you that coffee shop feel where you can get your favorite chicken and waffles. So we ordered our food and everything was good overall. There were a few nitpicking things, such as I didn't like the cashier's attitude. I thought it came across a bit dismissive and snoodie. I must admit that was off-putting. But the reason I gave it 5 stars because of how they handled a mistake with the food. They made a mistake and took full responsibility, and made things right. I really appreciated the adulting and the good business sense. Their food was really delicious, and I will return in the future, God willing.

Diverse offerings, and food that is on the high end of the semi-fast food spectrum. Orders are placed at the main desk and waitstaff delivers to your table. Breakfast, lunch, and dessert are offered. Both indoor and outdoor dining areas are available. Also serves a limited amount of alcoholic beverages. Clean, modern looking bathrooms. No parking lot, but lots of nearby street parking is available. Prices are appropriate.
